2. fill voids and pinholes with bondo type filler by squeegee it over with a piece of plastic like a credit card and fine sand when cured
3. scuff sand all surface by fine sandpaper or scoth scratch pad to remove the gloss before painting.
4. mark locations of the screwes on the wingtip half inch from the edge, use at least 12 screws on the top and 12 on the bottom.
5. Slide the wingtip over the wing one inch. use masking tape as guide to see how far to go.
6. Drill small pilot holes for all mounting screws.
7. Remove the wingtip and inlarge the holes in it to accept the screws with some clearance and reinstall with all screws.
8. cut out the e rear end to clear the aileron and glue a piece of wedge shaped plywood into the into the open end . Make sure you sand the inside fiberglass for the glue to stick.
9. soak the screw holes in the wing by thin soperglue to harden and reinforce the plywood.
10. Drill a drain hole on the inside wall in the low rear corner. position this hole about half inch from the lewer and rear edges because if you drill too close to the edge you will be going int solid fiberglass.
